The end of the day when everyone is taking a relaxing sigh. The birds are aiming themselves into the breeze and just being in the moment. The fabrics of this quilt were made by scanning in previously hand-made favorite fabrics of mine and then they were printed out and sewn onto batting. The birds were photographed by me on Sanibel Island in Florida and the photo was printed on a sheer fabric. To finish, the piece was machine-quilted, hand-embroidered, and yarn was couched to the edge. This quilt was donated to SAQA for their annual fundraiser and it is now part of a private collection.
